S3 Manual Performance figures

These data have been published by Audi Driver Magazine, and thought folk might be interested

I've just pulled out the S3 numbers but the magazine also compares them to previous S3's and the old RS3.

Pretty nippy and I think the S-Tron would be even quicker

Also the conditions were cold and damp, so traction was a bit of an issue, even with quattro for their launches they said. They were on Summer tyres, the standard Contisportcontact 5's

Does anyone know the 0 - 100 mph figure

The most impressive figure there is the test mpg above 30!

Especially if they've just been launching it!!

S-tronic is about 10 secs so a manual add a second ish.

Done a 4.7 to 60 two up on a slight incline with a vbox (same as what the magazines use).

Yes, there a full road test of an S3 quattro 6-speed manual in January 2014 issue of Audi Driver. The are the main test figures:
0-50 mph - 4.3 secs
0-60 mph - 5.2
0-70 mph - 7.1
0-80 mph - 8.6
30-50 mph (third gear) - 2.4
30-50 mph (fourth gear) - 3.4
50-70 mph (third gear) - 2.7
50-70 mph (fourth gear) - 3.6
50-70 mph (fifth gear) - 4.3
50-70 mph (sixth gear) - 5.6
Overall fuel comsumption - 31.5 mpg
Power/weight - 218 PS/ton

I've done a 4.7 with a passenger measured with a vbox (s-tronic).

Sorry I obviously didn't take enough notice of what you said. Unfortunately I've not seen any tests at all for an S3 s-tronic.
