MMI Navigation vs MMI Navigation plus display

I know that the mmi navi plus has better resolution on it's display and it's bigger, but how much poorer is the regular display compared to the upgraded one? Is it even decent? Could somebody post pictures of the regular 6,5" 400x240 display?

It really depends on what you are used to. Coming from a nice Bmw with idrive, the low-res MMI was a real turnoff. However compared to most other in car entertainment systems, it's not bad. You really should see the difference for yourself before deciding!

Totally agree. I've got a MINI clubman with the latest Nav and connected google stuff and the res is far higher than the standard mmi stuff.

The he upgrade to the tech pack mmi plus screen was a no brainier for me, the standard one looked old tech.

I am accustomed to a VAG RNS510 unit. Anyone have an opinion on how its quality compares with MMI and MMI Plus?
