Fitting AutoSocks to Sline

Has anyone tried fitting AutoSocks to an A3 with Sline Suspension? According to their website "
if you can't get your forearms into the space between the wheel and the wheel arch, fitting will be difficult." I think it's unlikely that I will get my arm behind the wheels.
