Spacesaver Spare

I have ordered a new 1.4 Sportback. My only concern was that when specifying on line, it appeared that to get a spacesaver spare I had to order Audi sound system. The salesman assured me that the car will come with a spare, but they will tell you anything to settle the sale.
Roll on March 2014!
 
Depends when you ordered I think, but it does look like that'll be a restriction in the future. It's surprising though. I can see it the other way around - requiring a spacesaver if you upgrade the sound system, because you need something for the sub to sit in (!), but not the way round they have it.
 
Thanks. I will email dealer to try to get some confirmation on the spacesaver.
