2nd set of Alloys for Winter tyres

I've managed to source some inexpensive but very decent winter tyres for my 8V S-line. They are the same tyre size as the all weather tyres fitted by the factory (225/40 18).

I am considering buying a second set of alloys (used) to put the tyres on, rather than have to pay £80+ every winter to have them swapped on and off my existing alloys.

So, the big question is, will 18" genuine Audi alloys from the previous generation A3 fit, in terms of offset, and the wheel nuts etc?

Any help would be much appreciated.....
