hi,

It seems that taking the car for a spin (all euros?) after a proper car/wheel wash is essential. I gave it a wash the other day and I went straight into the garage to dry it (didnt want to dirty it again because rain started) .

However, the next morning when i started and put in reverse i felt the brakes really stuck on , I had to use some revs to free it.

The rotor and pad material is so different to Japanese cars as i never had any dust or binding like this after a wash with my corolla.

Anyone else experience this?

Thanks
karl.

Normal. If you would've went out for a short drive and tapped the brakes before drying they wouldn't of stuck on.

ok cool thanks.

Yea i tried a quick brake in my driveway, but it wasnt enough, i didnt want to go out on the main road because it started to rain and the tyres would have thrown up dirt on the sides of the car.
