AMI cable confusion

Im due to receive my car from a leasing company on the 2nd of september. However i'm doubting that it will be supplied with the AMI cables. I have an iPhone 5 and i keep all of my music on it and i was wondering what cable i need so i can order one off eBay before rather than having to go to my local audi and probably wait for them to get one in stock. Sorry if this question has already been asked.

You need the red collared cable and the Apple lightning adapter :thumbup:

Part number 4F0 051 510 R.

Dealer should provide this, or at a minimum the blue collared cable for older ipods with the car

Agreed.

I received the red one with the car..worked with my I-P 4s...but doesn't work with the blue...so I was GIVEN the blue also which enables older gen IPODs (but no artwork)
