Diagnostic port ??

For those more familiar with under the bonnet, I presume that this is a diagnostic port, and not something that has been unfinished ?

It's an air flow/pressure sensor on the plastic intake leading to the throttle body, totally normal, it's clipped into a plastic mould on the intake pipe.

Diagnostic port is above the accelerator pedal in the lower dash

As already advised, given the location, maf or boost sensor, looks like latter tbh.
