Hello Chums,

Got an A3 s-line sportback on order at the moment. Hooked after a 5 day test drive last week.

I've a couple of questions about some things that bugged me from the test...

1 - Is it possible to get the time displayed in the DIS
2 - Can you set music played over an iPhone 5 to random play? I couldn't make the menu item appear...

I read in a german forum that this is not possible.

Over bluetooth you could, the car just passes whatever is playing on the phone to the car speakers.

Bluetooth streaming should be fine

1. Yes

2. There is an option for random playback with my iPod Touch so I don't see why an iPhone should be any different really.

If you stream via Bluetooth and your iphone isn't already set to shuffle then you need to enable it on the iPhone. You can't do it via the mmi.

I've just got the standard mmi no tech pack.
