With audi announcing that DAB will become standard from MY14 build onwards, I'm just after a bit of advice please.
i have an appointment this afternoon with an Audi dealer to officially place my order for 2 cars - My A3 SB 2.0 TDI S-Tronic S-Line, and my wife's A1 1.4 TFSI S-Tronic S-Line. As you can imagine, it's quite a chunk of money for the two, so I'm looking to pair down the options as much as reasonably possible.
Currently I have DAB selected for both cars at £610 combined, but I do really want DAB on both cars. If I drop this as an option however, as I've been quoted an approx delivery of end August / early September, will the cars come with DAB for free, or is it a risk not specifying it now ? If Audi subsequently put the list price of the cars up to compensate, would they end up back charging me anyway ? Dealer is currently telling me he can't give it for free at this stage so would have to be included in the price today if I wanted it.
