Audi phone box

I've been following this forum for a while and haven't seen anyone who has spec'd the Audi phone box. I'm not entirely sure what it is but it seems like it ensures your phone always has signal by using the cars aerial, is that right? Has anyone got it? What do you think to it?

i really dont see the point with this, unless you live/drive allot where there is low cell coverage. I got it on my order because it costs 30EUR in sweden.
 
I have it. Can't say I've noticed it helping the signal to be honest but the main reason I got it was for the USB charging socket, which I do find useful. Not worth the money though and wouldn't have specced it had I been paying :)
 
Pricing is weird in sweden. Phonebox is 30 EUR aprox on 3door, 400 EUR aprox on SB
 
Oh, in that case I think my SB would have been without the phone box even if I lived in Sweeden :think: Beats me how they work out pricing.
