Hi, I joined so i can ask this question, hope you don't mind.

I am spec'ing a new A3 Sportback, Audi code: ACFBRE9K

I really like the idea of the through-load facility, so my 2 kids get an arm rest/ cup-holders but does this have any implications on the split/folding seats?

I like the split folding (one seat/ two-seat/ all) in my current 2005 A3, will this be the same in the new A3 Sportback?

Logic suggests it will be the same mate, so you can get 3 in comfortably as such, otherwise someone may straddle the join & thats a little uncomfy :)

That's is how it works on my current 2012 A3 so I assume it will be the same on the 2013 A3. There is in fact a photo on page 57 of the Pricing and Specification Guide for the new A3 which shows the 1/3-2/3 split from the luggage compartment and the through-load hatch is in the 2/3 section. You can download a copy of the brochure from the Audi UK website.

Thanks a lot, guys. I have finalised my Audi code!

The load through opening is set inside the larger seat ie. the 60 part of the 60/40 split seat
