the etron coming out next year will make this an interesting debate - 188mpg, with one tester claiming 235mpg and yet near hot hatch performance - we shall see if its a genuine car that people will go for
its not cheap at £32700 but with a claimed performance (0-62 7.6secs, 137mph) and mpg plus a £5000 subsidy it means its a genuine contender on a lot of peoples shopping list - I guess it would be tight getting it under £30K with options and discount
