New A3 1.8 Sportback - no manual gearbox?

No manaul gearbox available in either SE, Sport or S-line trim - what's going on???
 
The 3dr 1.8 was only available as auto for a while before having the option of manual... Can't really see why but guess it will be the same here.
 
Usual Audi Launch crap.. getting the spec you want takes a few months longer... When will a meaty engined Tdi quattro Sportback BE with Manual gearbox be out???
 
I don't want them to release a black edition, I want my S Line to be top of the range lol
