New Audi A3 Sunroof

I understand that the sunroof, whilst it is glass, it only tilts and does not open backwards.
Is anyone able to confirm this?

Not sure I will add this as an option, if this is the case!

I don't know about the new A3 but it was certainly like this on the facelift A5 I test drove before getting my car. What's the point of having a sunroof if you can't stick your head out of it/jump into the car through it?!

I downloaded an interactive brochure to my iPad from the App Store - under Audi e-brochures. The page about the sunroof says the 'large panoramic glass sunroof that can be both tilted or fully opened', although there aren't any pictures of it in an open position.
