New Audi A3 is on the money

What no stronic derv?

That sucks.

Not at launch, apparently - but also no manual 1.8? Presumably for emissions, but then why a manual derv? Baffling. Not as expensive as I was expecting, but this is still a fairly hefty jump on the outgoing model by my reckoning once you've added any options.

I think the pricing is right to be honest... I think Audi were selling the A3 too cheap when you compare it to a equivalent Golf. This is due the addition of the A1 into the mix. The A3 was entry into Audi ownership and so had to be priced as such. With the A1 taking that role, the A3 will naturally be priced higher.
