Yes Joe, but they have never actually made it. I looked on the net last night and was rather disappointed to read there wasn't going to be a part two. A great shame, considering the way it ended.

It wasn't just a sequel, there was 3 parts to the story, 3 books in the trilogy - "His Dark Materials".
