Absolutely brilliant film. I think I posted a thread about it some time ago.
Basically, any film by the same film maker, Shane Meadows, is highly worth watching (in this order):

    This is England
    A Room For Romeo Brass
    Le Donk & Scor-zay-zee
    Somers Town
    Twenty Four Seven
Once Upon a time in the Midlands

You're welcome. A Room for Romeo Brass is excellent, but may be difficult to "source" other than on DVD.
