Well, that was the best race I have seen in a long time. It made it worth getting up at 2am for the whole thing. It was great not to hear the German or Italian Anthems again!!

Let's hope the rest of the season is a good as the Aussie GP! It'll be great when they get rid of launch control later in the season!

yup, ditch traction control and launch control its not a fair repesentation of driving ability along with fully automatic gearboxes - it must be like me playing GP4 /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/lol.gif. If the qualifying was round the other way, there would be no incentive to push for a fast lap.

The idea of swapping the qualifying about is thgat the fast runners have the disadvantage of running on the unkonwn, in previous years the top teams always waited for the lesser teams to go out, watch what time they set and then set up the car accordingly, just final tweaks...
If you moved the 2nd quals around the top guys have to go first, letting the others watch the times and set up their cars ready for their run. This would hopefully mean a closer grid and some exciting quals that people might sit down for an hour and watch.
