Thread: Mercedes takes over Brawn F1 team

Mercedes buys and renames the Brawn F1 team in a deal that is likely to see Jenson Button partner Lewis Hamilton at McLaren in 2010.

Should make for an interesting pairing with both British World Champions Lewis and Jenson in the same team, I personally think Lewis is the faster(more aggressive) driver of the two, so it would be interesting to see how Jenso competes against him.

Mercedes taking over brawn = BAD BAD BAD IMO!

I know this is probably about money, but surely... Rubens, Jenson, Ross, Brawn GP was the dream team!? Why change it!? I am gutted about that.

Well both Hamilton & Button are both confirmed. Not sure too about that. I agree with Jojo regarding Hamilton being more aggresive. It could come down to who is easier on his tyres. Will prove interesting.

And it now seems that Mercedes are trying to get Michael Schumacher to be their lead driver for 2010....
