Thread: Schumacher cancels comeback.

Just seen this on the telly, shame really would of loved to of seen him race against Hamilton:

Ferrari have now lined up their test driver Luca Badoer to race, surprised they didnt try to get Coulthard to race, dont think Badoer will be up to it to be honest...

Major disapointment for me! I actually liked Schumacher despite his total control during his Formula One years!

Anyone know if he might return next season in place of anyone subject to his neck probs?

I don't think he will, he always said it was a 'temporary' comeback.

The only possible hope is that his neck gets better and Massa is out for the whole of the rest of this season.

Can't see it though - the accident was in February so it's had a good six months to heal already, how much could it still improve now to allow him to get racing?

I was gutted when I heard the news! Was really looking forward to it. I think if he did come back, he maybe could have won at least one of the races. He seemed pretty gutted himself when he announced that his neck wasn't up to the job.

Its really a huge disappointment.
