Too right, I hope Rossi does it. Pedrosa is in with a chance, Toseland for the podium. Lets just hope the rain holds off, I'll be there for the whole weekend.
Glad somebody else has noticed Stoner whinging. I thought it was great how Stoner whinged about the last race while Rossi was over the moon cause he'd had fun racing. I think thats why he's so liked, because he seems to be in for a laugh, whether winning or loosing.

He is whinging this year but the bikes just not working for him, Rossi has a full package together thats running amazingly, pedrossa is on form too, the testing of the Desmocidici GP9 has started too, the bike is amazing but only for stoner the other riders are complaining that it takes a very aggresive riding style to get the most out of it and stoner has that style, apparently.
Toseland is on form hes finsihed within the last six for most of the season so far, very commendable for a rookie, and hes at his home ground this weekend, so fingers crossed for him, not been a British rider onm the podium for a soem time now at donnington, very envous of you this weekend fella, gonna get tickets for next year me thinks
I think it's going to be between Rossi and Pedrosa.
I'd love to be there, I used to go all the time.
Since the chav element starting using airhorns en-masse though, I haven't been back.

True about the Duke, its such a shame that Melandri is struggling so much. If he lasts the season I'll be amazed, esp with Sete Giberneu testing for Ducati later this month.
Donington is a great track to visit, I'd love to go to Mugello having seen the scenes this year. Assen is another track I'd like to visit.

Get yourself down Bowfer!!! Its not chavtastic at all. Nearly everybody has some sort of Rossi get up on and to be fair, you can tell where he is on the track just by listening to the crowd go up!!
Also, the sound of the new motogp machines is stunning. You can actually feel them passing you..

Once i get my full bike license this year it'll be a trip to donny defo next year and maybe mugello at a push, it looked great this year.
I was reading about Sete testing the Gp9 machine, Ducati are looking to take Shaky over to WSB for a factory ride too!! that should be good.
this weekend should be a blinder though the weather doesnt look to bad for it.
Yep, the plastic poncho has just gone in the bag!!!

Was at Mugello last year, it has to be experienced to be believed.
It's just mental, especially the track invasion at the end.
Not just people, but mopeds towing chairs on wheels etc.etc.
Got into the VIP village on the back of wearing my Tissot MotoGP watch.
One of the PR women noticed me wearing it as we walked past the entrance and we were all invited in.
If you want any tips on Mugello, let me know.
Biggest tip I would give is to hire a moped/bike to get you to the circuit.
A car means hours of queues and parking in fields miles away.
Hiring a moped means you can take it trackside.
Going to Brno in August.

Out of interest, have they banned airhorns yet?
There was outcry about it the last time I was at Donington, to the extent that they were considering banning them.

No there were plenty of them today. To be fair though, they only ever get used when Rossi goes past. Even woth Toseland there the place is just Rossi everywhere.
Very busy today, it was almost like a Saturday. This weekend is going packed!

Just watched qualifying..............oh dear James![]()

Not good starting 16th on the grid hopefully he's had all his bad luck sending it down the road yesterday.Being realistic I don't think James is going to get a podium finish now.Lets hope Rossi does the job.

Shame for James, the place just fell silent when he went off. However, despite what people say about going on the track at the end of the race, when all the other guys had gone through, everybody who had gone on the track stayed and formed a corridor for JT to ride through cheering him all the way. I'm sure he'll be back stronger next year.
On the plus side, Scott Redding!!!! Is he going to be our Rossi?!?!

It was a shame for JT think it'll, make him more determined to work harder.
Redding what a ride!!!!!!! he could well be our rossi, amazing ride from the youngster yesterday, well impressed and hes only bloddy fifteen!!!!!!!!!
I've just finished sending an email complaint to ITV news.
Absolutely no mention of Scott Redding, a 15 year old British boy winning a race at the British Grand Prix, yet they'll happily mention Lewis Hamilton finishing 112th (or whatever the hell it was) at the French F1.
Unbelievable.

Bloody hell I'm agreeing with bowfer twice in one day.Trouble is the mainstream press and TV still see motorcyclists as a minority interest even though there are a million plus motorcyclists + plus millions more who enjoy watching motorcycling races.
It used to well piss me off a number of years ago when you'd be watching a motocycle GP when they'd would interupt the race to say some tosser has hit a six in cricket or a tennis player had a tantrum. At least now they don't interupt the race so I suppose that is progress.![]()

At 15 years of age Scott Redding is the youngest winner of a Grand Prix and the first British rider to win the 125cc class since Chas Mortimer in 1973.
What an achievement WELL DONE THAT BOY.Hopefully he'll get some due recognition from the TV, he did get a full page spread suprisingly in todays times.

No reason why not, with the right guidance/back up.
He certainly seems to have a better mindset than Bradley Smith.
No denying Bradley's talent, but there's definitely something wrong with his mindset.
I can only liken it to when I raced, albeit at a far lower level.
Empty track, I was as fast as any of them.
I just didn't have the aggression to tough it out in a 'pack' situation though.
His showing at Mugello summed it up.
Took the lead with a couple of laps to go, bottled it on the important one and ended up 5th, or wherever.
I think Redding has the aggression not to let that happen.

Yeah, he certainly put the leader under pressure, closing the gap bit by bit until he would have passed him even if he hadn't fallen off. It was an amazing result!
