Thread: Audi R8 Crash - Heikki Kovalainen - Race Of Champions - Video

Heres a video of Heikki's crash at the weekend - he damaged his car on the final corner then lost control on the slowing down lap.....

What an idiot. The most amazing show for driving skills and he crashes the R8 and knocks himself out with his bird as a passenger. Bet hes embarassed!! Dan that was a nice R8.

It happen to the best of drivers, don't be so hard on him, he is a professional and I doubt many everyday drivers could perform better than him, Michelle Mouton crashed her S1 at the ROC also so that goes to show that it is possible to make mistakes.

Don't worry I'm just jokingly mocking him mate! Your not him in disguise are you?.

His accelerator was stuck in the floor when he was coming out of the corner.
You can see breaking lights but car doesn't slow down.
He said that he crashed in to the left barrier to slow the car down before crashing in to the side barrier.

this brings a tear to my eye that is one awesome how people can ruin it pains me!
on msn once i seen a multimillionare had got annoyed with his lambo and let a bunch of workers smash it to peices with hammers

Oh dear, that is indeed tough watching - but I managed it.

I remember years ago he was heralded as the next big thing when he beat Schumacher at the race of champions - plus of course a rather successful year in formula 3000/ford/renault of whatever it was back then.

Havent read anything about it but it clearly wasnt driver error ...... and no I'm not Heikki by the way!!
