Sweet, will do. I've actually ordered a self-tuning box from FR&R Tuning, which will hopefully be arriving today. Getting an Eco map, which is 160 BHP, and a Race map which is 200 and is going to smoke like hell I'm assuming! Ha. So if you ever see a massive cloud of black smoke, it's probably me!
If you want to meet up some time and see what the mapping is like my number is 07970 262491 - give us a call or text and we can arrange something.
I wouldn't say it makes the car into a rocket ship but you can certainly feel the difference - the turbo whistle is quite cool too. Make the turbo spool much louder.
Oh right! Don't think I've seen you about. We'll have to meet up one night, because I want to remap mine, and toyed with the idea of DPF and EGR removal, and would to see how well the car goes!
Yeahhh lots of plans!
Chrome trim wrapped black, mirror polishing my roof rails (to match the mirror polished lips on my wheels), wrapping the grilled matt black, dying the roof liner and other beige bits black, Milltek twin exhaust, windows tinted, then all of the performance stuff ( remap, DPF, EGR, mayyybe intercooler) and hopefully brakes at some point!
For my fogs, I bought some yellow tint vinyl stuff of eBay for about £5!
I live on the Dale Road
I've got BBS CH 18s on my A4 (they were an option but I haven't seen many with them on) but you can see an extra inch would look better.
I had a remap last week up in Hay on Wye - DPF removed for a replacement pipe and EGR removed for a replacement pipe and mapping. Brought the car to life no end - makes me wish I'd held out for a Quattro.
Other things I would like to do:-
Chrome edging wrapped matt black
Interior, grill and exhaust valance carbon wrapped
Cayenne/Q7 front brake callipers
Lots to do – you have any plans?
One thing, are your spot lights covered in that euro yellow colour? How did you do that?
Oh really?! Where are you from? Get the odd rub now and again, mainly if I have people in the back, but nothing major. Love the 19's, but I do need a remap! Feels a bit sluggish with them on.
Seen you around Hwst a couple of times now - wheels look really nice. Do you get any rubbing with the spacers? How do you find the 19s? I quite like bigger wheels but don't want to lose driveabilty in the car - air ride and 20s isn't my COT at all
