I was wondering if you could help me. I live in Stoke & am in need of changing some setting's in my MMI via a VAG-COM on my A6 allroad.
It has developed a fault that has been diag'd as the MMI control unit not powering off causing the battery to drain over night. The dealer wants to replace the the unit & this will cost over £1400 which I cant afford at the moment.
Even though I found a Audi Service bulletin that describes the same fault, they state that this will not fix it. Basically it requires a MMI software update to the latest version & then some settinngs changed via VAG-COM.
For the time being they have disconnected the MMI so that it does not drain the battery & I can drive it, but as you can guess there is no MMi display now & no media etc.
Would you be able to help me do this please?
