    Standard in tank pump is fine if healthy. You should be fine with hybrid, 3 bar FPR, and 550s but if the pump is healthy and you still find there's not enough fuel you'll need an inline pump to help...

    Fuel pump is 4 bar, FPR is 3 bar, no upgrade required for hybrid as long as the pump is good..

    Standard FPR on an S3 is 3 bar. Using a 4 bar will put strain on the fuel pump as its designed to work alongside 3 bar FPR. We've started to see standard injectors run out of puff on 3 bar at around...

    Ok, 3k budget, 400ish horsepower, intantly says to me ko4-064 which is the turbo off the newer 2.0tfsi S3. Realistically that is the only route you can take whilst trying to remain in yoir budget...

    Any transverse 20v turbo engine will fit, not all are suitable though... you should be looking to use AGU, AMK, BAM, APY, AYP, APX... (there are a couple of others but can't think of the numbers off...

    No probs... yep, all you need to do to fit an AMK is swap the cam chain tensioner, remove/delete the SAI as the AMK doesn't have provision for this... swap the knock sensors too as the APY sensors...
