You get puddle lights with the interior lighting pack, although they are mounted on the bottom of the doors not the wing mirrors.

I am not surprised the A3 is quite measuring outside, as almost all the produced tyre noise seems to be funnelled in to the cabin (that is likely what happens in my current A3 in any case ;-))

Depends upon whether you wish to put a washing machine in the back or not. If it is 'not' then a saloon is by far, in my and reviewers opinion, the best looking car out of the A3 range, unique too....
