AUDI A6 2.5 tiptronic start up problem
Hope that someone can advise me - this car seemed fine and no start up problems for one day after purchase. However, the following day it started then conked out and had to try few times before it ran. This happened every day over 3 day period but as very cold / snow thought that was to blame. Subsequently have driven 600 miles without any issues, until arrived home.
Would not fire up at all the next day.
A mechanic has done a diagnostic test which finds no fault with the car.
Possibly air in the system? - in fact there are a couple of bubbles visible in the fuel pipe on top of the engine.
Or, the fuel injection system? Mechanic says that the fuel is getting through but not sufficient, very slowly.
We intend to bleed the system over the next few days.
Has anyone else had similar experiences?
