From my experience, both types of steering wheels are fairly common. You need to see what type you have first.
All the wires needed come with the mfsw.
Best thing it to get the right wheel first, once you take the old one off you can get the part number off the slip ring.
I bought a slip ring (still have it) but didn't need it as I had the correct one, you probably do as well.
If you are planning on getting cruise control, I'd have them both done at the same time.
