Happy New Year!!

John,
Can you post details of this event which is taking place in February. I need to call and book a place.

Could those attending please let me know too.

As an Audi only day from the start Paul, Jonny at booka track gave us preference on booking and will do, up to a point, he has to realize 60 cars to make money, and he would love them all to be Audi, but due to the lack of interest from majority of owners, he has invited a selection of his better customers to the track on that day if we cant fill it. If we want a Audi only trackday on that day then we will have to pay more for the privilege based on the numbers of Audis signed so far.
Cheers

Thanks John,

All booked up for this - really looking forward to it. I booked online incidentally but when I registered I made a reference to your name - perhaps you might want to follow this one up.

Any other takers from AS Net??

Ian

Booked and paid for (even if I haven't got any brakes at present) /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazy.gif

But more importantly will you have brakes by 26 February?

I hope so, but put it this way, you won't want me behind you coming into Redgate if I don't /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazy.gif

If you have fried brakes I doubt you'll be anywhere near me /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif
Now that's fightin' talk where I come from /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Should be a good laugh though /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Indeedy , Dunc did you get my mail, sorry its been in my draft box for a while.

The facilities are good at Donnington, and if GF/Wife comes theres nearby shops at Ashby de la Zouch, also a great little motor musesum with some superb F1 stuff in there.
Cheers

This event will be run as open pit lane.

Directions
The circuit is located close to Junction 23a of the M1, but the M42/A42 and A50 also meet at this point. From junction follow the A453 towards the Donington Park and East Midlands Airport.

Petrol
The circuit fuel station will not be open. The nearest petrol stations are at the East Midlans Airport and at the Donington Park services on the A453 Junction 23a of the M1.

Facilities
Food is served at The Old Redgate Lodge and Pit Stop Diner and toilet facilities are available onsite all day.

Requirements
The only requirements are that all drivers, passengers and spectators sign our indemnity and that anyone going out onto the circuit wears a helmet. Helmets are available to hire at £5 per day and if you haven't already specified one when booking you are advised to do so to ensure we bring enough along. A compulsary safety briefing will be held at 08:30 in the Pit Stop Diner, any customers who have not signed on by 08:30 will have to wait until 10:00 until the next safety briefing. it is especially recommended that all novice drivers are signed on by 08:30 so they can participate in the parade laps and novice session.

2nd Drivers and Passengers
We are unique in not charging for passengers or 2nd Drivers. Spectators are of course welcome as well. Children under 16 years must be accompanied at all times by an adult but will not be allowed onto the track without our prior consent.

Tyres
Are available for fitting on-site at very competitive prices. Contact us or visit the Shopping area of our website for pricing. You must let us know asap if you require tyres fitting at the event. A tyre fitting van will be onsite all day for anybody who has their own tyres for fitting.

Instruction
Instruction will be available all day. The cost is £20 per 20 minutes session and is strongly recommended for beginners and newcomers to the venue. Instruction can be booked via the website booking system.

Finally, if you have not yet paid in full please do so immediately to avoid risking losing your place. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact us either by e-mail, fax or phone.

Yeah some git nicked his nice new Sportecs /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/mad.gif I've no idea why what else are they gonna go on. There's not too many RS4's out there and even fews with after marktet wheels and even fewer with these Sportecs. Someone's gonna get found out!

A good fun day with only three offs. The first I missed (refueling) but apparently a Porsche got the back out too far as it came onto the home straight. It gave a bit of a tank slapper, gripped and put him into the pit wall. A new front end required /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazy.gif

Another porker put it into the gravel at either the exit of Craner or at the Old Hairpin.

The final off was the Integrale who's wheel went straight on as the car turned right at Redgate. Quite lucky it didn't dig in and flip or it could have happened where there was less run off!

Apart from the above, a top day /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif
