Rolling Road Session in Scotland

Since hardly anything is organised in Scotland me and a mate have decided to organise a RR shootout up here.

We are going to keep it to VAG cars (although a mates civic type R is coming) in November.

The provisional date for this is the 21st. It is at Star Performance in Kirkcaldy. www.starperformance.co.uk They have a very good RR and good fans.

We need a minimum of 12 cars, and a maximum of 20 (although 24 at a squeeze).

It will cost £20 for FWD cars and £30 for 4WD. This is cheap.

This is a great chance to see if your car, modded or standard, is running correctly, and should be good fun as well.

I already have some guys coming so there are not many spaces. Some of the names are provisional so be quick.

What engine code is your car? I will get you a quote from the tuner that will be visiting me the week before the RR - he is doing a few custom maps for a few cars.

We can get everyone on the standby list, on the rollers - you'll have to thank Jim at Star as he said he would stay until all are done. This is the list closed however as Jim agreed to extend the list to 28.

Because of the numbers going, Star are going to organise a burger van for food.

Can everyone have the correct money to hand to save time. £20 for FWD, £30 for 4WD.

We will organise all the cars in an order so that the rollers are not getting adjusted all the time - A list will be posted soon. Here is a list of all who are going.

The starting time for the RR is 10am (Sunday the 28th Nov). I guess the FWD cars will take at least an hour to do, so the guys nearer the end of the list could arrive a bit later if they like (but in time for their slot!). I assume the RR will last about 4hrs.
