I spoke briefly to the owner asking what engine and he said 'its for cruising mate' which I thought was fair dues until he added 'innit'!!

Revo remap which says 260 but its just a ballpark figure 14.6 and 5.8 were my best on the last run when I took off at 6k plus,Chris's motor obviously had probs as he would of smoked me easily but despite what it looks on the vid he beat me on all the runs even with dodgy turbo and leaky gasket

That was a good 0-60 time. Your car was running faster than my old mapped K04 did.

Lol, I don't have problems, I have opportunities. The JBS stand got me thinking.

I was about to the same thing, very good 0-60 time. I was wondering that your car looked a bit slow Chris (Not that I've seen it go before) but it would have been nice to see what 330hp looked like accelerating. Anyhows was good enough to see the car in the flesh (even though I never got to see u)

Good to see a picture of my Goodwood green S3 there. Even if it looks like it's just come down a farm track.

It's the first time I've run the Audi and got a best quarter time of 14.4 and 5.8 for the 0 - 60.

I was happy with that as the car is totally standard, "innit". Except taking out the rear seats, spare tyre and jack etc.

Question, how accurate are the times at Inters compared to a proper quarter mile track such as Santa Pod or York?

These are amazing times for standard, I'm thinking they are more like times for a remapped S3, I'm sure removing rear seat and jack etc. won't gain you 1/2 second 0-60!

Yeah, amazed me too.

The original owner from new says its standard and I'm the second owner and I've not had any work done.............yet.

I think its quite a fit example. I had a TT Coupe 225 before and the S3 feels soo much faster.

Removing the rear seats,spare tyre,jack,tools,mats,triangle,firstaid kit,toffees,curly wurlys,rear shelf will make about 1/4 second difference on the quarter....try it. I'm surprised more people weren't doing it.

Ran in the afternoon with my mate in the passengers seat and the best I could manage was a 14.9 quarter and 6.3 to 60..... Told him its time for a diet!

Amazingly quick times 2 up aswell! Sounds like shes running fine.

Wait until you remap it!

5.8 standard, mine was 7.8 roughly standard.

am sure it must be remapped.

can't be standard mate! no way would you do a 5.8 especially as that would be a good time for a remapped car

Too bad I didn't catch you Rik, but 7.8 is crap, even for standard! You're just too use to 1.6 power lol.

Hey thanks voorhees for putting the photos up of the speedingreenmachine! They're fab.
I have been looking at our times on www.theresults.co.uk and there isnt a lot in it. I think if I'd had my usual clutter in the trunk your times would of beaten mine easily. Hell, I even found £1.37 in loose change under the rear seat. Got to be the best pound vs performance mod ever!

wish id run sunday now as the times appear to have been much quicker stickier track perhaps...

we only managed a 14.8 as the clutch slip was getting daft going into 4th..
run a 14.2 on our own gps racelogic gear

that was with full interior etc..

0-60 should be around 6.4secs out the box, so anything around that figure. Under 6 secs is remapped power!

i got 14.60 at pod just with exhaust a filter and on 19s
