The way that the club parking works this year is as follows:

The club registers with autometrix and estimates the numbers of spaces it needs. Because last year many clubs didn't fill their spaces (and some didn't even turn up), this year all club members attending with the intention of parking on club plots have to book in advance (saves money anyway) and when the members book online they state which club they are with. Then the club parking passes are sent out with advance tickets (so the club doesn't have the hassle of giving out passes) and we also know exactly how much space to allocate to individual clubs... Advance tickets = club passes = club parking space

I've just checked with our admin and we haven't received return of the club registration form from either of the ASN reps we have listed, one of whom I've just spoken to about it. However, I've just asked our webmaster to add ASN to the list of registered clubs on the advance ticket form and you guys can all now make your advance ticket orders

Well since I'm most likely to be buying my ticket at the gates, as there's always the small possibility that I can't make it lol, are we gonna attempt to meet up a bit earlier outside the venue or just meet inside like last year?
Who else is heading from the Midlands via the M6, we can meet up at the service station(Crawley I think?) if anyone is interested?

Also, what's going on with the passes, has anyone actually arranged for them to be sent out etc.??

Update on plans for GTI International

I hope that you are all looking forward to the GTI International weekend. All the indications are that overall attendance will be high and both Volkswagen UK and SEAT UK will be having displays in the central area.

We have one particular problem which you can help us with. In a previous e-mail we explained that the amount of space you will be given for your club display area will depend on the number of your members who book advance tickets. This is so that we avoid the problems of last year when some clubs booked big sites and didnt turn up, while others were given a smaller patch which was too crowded.

With some clubs, we have not had many advance bookings. The actual number of your members who have booked is attached to this e-mail.

We need to plan the club areas in advance of the event so that they are all marked out when your members arrive. To do this, we need to finalise on numbers no later than Monday 11th June - 12 noon. That is the day on which we will carry out the planning, based on the number of your members who have pre-booked.

Please bring this to the attention of your members. If they do not pre-book, they may well end up having to park in the general car park instead of in your club area.

We will send out the club passes to your members who have pre-booked. This will save you time and expense.
