Right. i arranged one of these on the corrado forum a few months back and it was great fun and now i have my new car and now there is a 210 vs 225 debate i thought it would be good to set up another one.

ROLLING ROAD

They were very profesional and as you can see from the pics... they have a 4wd rolling road!

Rolling road event Sunday 20th Feb 10am to be confirmed.

£30 covers 2 power runs with a printout of the best run.

Max of 35 cars on the day (doubt we'll get near that number but its a nice thought)

Im gonna ask a £10 deposit for this please just so i dont get a situation where no cars turn up /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif I'll then have £10 notes for you all as you turn up...sound fair?! I'll note on the list as and when deposites are paid...

I'm also gonna invite people from the TT forum CLICKY

i'll have to let him know about 1 week before hand the actuall number of cars...so untill that point feel free to join in /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/lol.gif

smokebelch. no its not for s3's only although i would be interested to get more s3's than any other purely as that is what i own. any audi or VAG variant would be welcome though. what are your car details and i'll add you to the list.

That must be one hell of a VR6 to give 170WHP.
What spec was it?

For the record, the figures listed are about spot on for accepted tweaked VR6 power - approx 140 ish WHP.
What did you do to get a gain of 30BHP at the wheels?

I don't expect to get that out of mine with Schrick 268 cams, big valve head (3mm bigger inlet valves, 2mm bigger exhaust valves), big TB, seriously modified head and Schrick manifold.

Do they have a good set up where we are going?
 
yeah im looking forward to it now. will also be good for me to chat to people to find out a bit more about the car i have cause i dont know much about it at the mo to be honest

their set up looked ok when i was their before. nice clean workshop and nice 4wd road.

i guess its not as good as the rolling road at QTS but i hear that is world class and £50 per car for a shoot out!!

I have a quick question regarding company vehicles I’m hoping you can either answer or ask the rolling road venue.

What is the situation with ownership recognition? Do you have to have the lease cars permission to run the car or will they simply not care? I believe it hay have a bearing on the insurance if the engine goes pop?

insurance wouldnt cover you for an engine blow out anyway would it???

what they dont know wont hurt them... look at it that way.. if you get probs then just tow the car onto the road and they wil know no better.
 
He’s more concerned about on the day the venue asking to see documents and my friend having to say he doesn’t own the car him self (Company car) and then not allowing him to run.

He just wants to be 100% before being turned away at the 11th hour.

you just turn up. sign a disclaimer saying they not responsible if it blows up.

they dont care who owns the car really

is it your car your asking about then?
 
Its my friend Matt's car. I take it they will only rev up to the redline and should not cause any damage to the engine.

Would he be in a place to sign that form legally though? Would you mind just giving them a quick call or email just to confirm. I'm sure they get this alot.
