Thread: ADI 2010 Convoy - Midlands/North

Anyone want to join me on the way down to ADI 2010 meeting point, I will be setting off from Solihull at around 0615ish then head along the M42, and pretty much straight down the M5 and left on the M4.
Anyone heading down the M5 from the Midlands or going through the Midlands, we can meet up at Strensham services around 7ish, or Ideally a bit earlier and leave at 7 anyways.

If anyone wants to meet me At Tesco's/Nottcuts at Junction 3 off the M42 a bit earlier, I'm ok with that too.

I could be up for that mate, me and a nother car are coming that way from Nottingham - the earlier the better!

just remembered im getting my remap that day so ill be heading there from bromsgrove. i will be too late for this convoy tho tbh ill be just arriving there at 7 n probs not out til about 7.30-8am

Haha, don't worry, they have a Maccy Ds there, you can get a half decent McMuffin instead.

Yep, I will also meet you there (strensham) same as last year JoJo. This was my first ever Audi event last year, so it'll be a nice anniversary! Learnt a lot about S3s in that time...

im gettin my remap done the week before now so should be able to meet up with no problems. still dunno if its easier? I wont know anyone though first audi meet so will be good to meet a few ppl before the 50 odd lol

M5 southbound mate, I'm not sure of the best route for you coming from MK, but I'm guessing M5 would be a bit of a detour if my geography is correct.

think im gonna camp...otherwise ill have to be up at 4am

according to google maps its gonna take me 2hours to the services or 2.5 hours to get to the big meet before.

so if it takes 30 mins from ur convoy it wont make any difference to time plus i get a lil break n a mcdees

can meet you at nott cuts off junc 3.

My car only turns up with flies on the front end, I wouldn't do it any other way!

Ive yet to sort things out but ... my plan is clean the hell out of the car saturday then wash it again when i get to ADI
I will be sorting out what im doing as in what time im setting off this weekend.

Yes, I join the M42 pretty much where it meets the M40, so you will go pass me, Maria joins on from the M6, as she's coming from Leicester way.

Count me out mate, i'm most likely setting off Friday morning, stop off at Longleat Safari for the day then camp just south of the track.....
