I have just bought a Audi S3 complete with an inactive tracker. The tracker works fine but is inactive as the previous owner decided at some point to not renew the annual tracker subscription.
Therefore, I was wondering how much it would actually lower my insurance if I activated it. I was hoping that the annual subscription cost would be approx equal to the amount my insurance was lowered.
However, imagine my surprise when rather than lower my insurance premium, the tracker actally raised it by £40 (about 10%). This seems barking mad to me!
