Just wondered if people on here know how insurers tend to treat factory-fitted options that vary the car from the standard specification? Given that all it takes to vary an Audi from standard specification is metallic paint, if insurers are classing this as a modification, then there must be a lot of folks driving with invalidated insurance if they did not declare this.
Obviously, all factory-fitted extras are going to be 100% legal / safe, which should help to appease the insurers.
