Hi all,
I currently have a modified S3 insured with Greenlight as they were one of the only companies who would touch the mods I have. Anyway I now need to buy a diesel for my daily commute of 100 miles and need some help to insure both cars.
The problem I have is that all my no claims (9 years) are used on the S3 so when I come to insure a £1000 diesel runner I'm getting quotes of £850 which is nearly the worth of the car
I'm thinking about getting the S3 put on a limited milage policy as it will only get used for track days and weekends for fun. I hoping this will bring the cost of insuring the S3 down so I can pay the insurance on the derv.
Anyone else here in a similar situation? Know of any companies that will insure a heavily modded car and a standard car?
