Thread: Assistance/suggestions required 17yr old from Australia looking to insure a car here?

Mates wife's half brother is coming to the UK to further his career as a racing driver. He's got enough trophies from Australia to sink a moderate sized battleship but we are having a lot of hassle trying to get insurace for him as even 1 litre Corsa's are coming back at £6k for TP cover? Obviously being able to get around our island is pretty damned important to him as he has interviews lines up all over the place.

Anybody have suggestions who might be able to offer a sensible priced policy??

17 years old and racing driver isn't going down well with the insurers then?
