Thread: Data only simcard question.

Does anyone know if a preloaded data only simcard can be used in a mobile phone? I'm talking about the ones you can get preloaded for use in USB net dongles. Can they be used in an Nokia N97 Mini for data usage only, no calls or text, just emailing/browsing/facebook etc.

Guess not then, not even the seller of these cards could answer this question, anyone want to test it out? lol

Just a quick update on this, it's possible to use a data only simcard in my N97 mini and probably any smartphone, I tested it and purchased a 3gb data simcard of ebay, and it works fine. Happy days.
