does anybody know how to use a webcam which is connected to a media center pc (which is on all the time) as cctv. which will save on the hard drive ?

also ideally i'd like to use it like an IP cam and be able to view it from another pc via the web.
i do own a domain name with web hosting so can broadcast over the web (securely)
