Nokia CK-1W bluetooth car kit echoing, Help!

Does anyone know how to cure the echoing for the person calling as they are all complaining that they can hear their own voice?, it's paired up to an iphone.

I often find just turning the speaker volume down a bit will help. Does the callers sound come out of the vehicle speakers, or a seperate speaker? Where's the mic mounted? Maybe it is too close to the speakers and picks up the callers voice?

It has it's own speaker in the passenger footwell & the mic is on drivers side A post so there as far apart as can be, & I've tried turning vol to the minimum, I reckon whats happening is maybe the phones mic is still running when its been answerd by the bluetooth kit and that is nearer to the speaker when its in its cradle, thinking about it I could get someone to call while its in my pocket & that will prove that therory, if so how to disable the phones mic when on bluetooth??
