Sony OLED TV

That's crazy slim, give it 5 years and they might be sensible money.

They are already out... theres an 11inch Sony OLED out... in fact, if you enter the gadgetshow comp you could win it! ;)

2 years till they are somewhere, 5 till they are everywhere... and it'll be bye bye plasma/lcd.

They look soooo sweeeeeet.

I'm not bothering upgrading my LCD because of this.
I'm going for three years until we're buying them like we did LCD a couple of years ago, at relatively high prices. (I was £900 for a good 32" LCD).
Maybe four or five years until they become as cheap as LCD is now (£500 for a good 32" LCD).

heard about this technology a while back, but didnt realise just how thin these things are!

maybe this could make james bond's invisible aston become reality lol

They have a few at Heathrow T5, 3mm thin or something and amazing image quality

The lack of bulk doesn't really interest me, as I will still use a corner stand ( I'm dead against wall mounting ).
I'm just interested in the lack of backlight.
Backlight buzz is the bain of LCD.
