Ok finally taken the plunge and bought my first piece of Apple hardware, a 30gb Video iPod.

Thing is, most of the movies on my HD are in WMV format and obviously the ipod doesnt want to play these.

Any decent converters out there or any other ideas how I can get them onto the damn thing??

Or search google for harbrake software if you want to be able to convert complete DVD's for playing on the iPOD.

i use the mac version of this all the time and the video iPOD is suprisingly good to watch a DVD on if your waiting ofr a plane or train or something.

And it's really affordable at £0.00 - bargain I'd say

you could try videora ipod convertor, just select you file and hit go, takes about 45mins a movie..
