Hi,

Been looking around for a DVD player that can handle DivX and pretty much anything else thrown at it. Seems its the cheapo ones that are more fully featured. Does anyone have any recommendations?

I do know that some of the cheap ones don't do everything they say on the box. My mate bought one from ebay and it was rubbish.

The reviews for those two look good though, I suppose even if they are rubbish its only £30...

I had a liteon one which was total pants. I wanted one that was networkable (so i didnt have to burn the divx files onto disc etc) but it wasnt very good at all.

I ended up building my own media center, and tbh this is a much better solution.

Get a chipped xbox with media centre on it. Works brilliantly!
