Hi all.

Simple question. I just had a go with the tomTom 300 to navigate my way over a few hour journey in Yorkshire and find it quite good but i've had no experience of Audi's own RNS-E Sat Nav Plus system.

For those who know - regardless of cost which is deemed better? Consider:

- Reliability
- Ease of use
- Visual appearance

Sorry for posting twice in 2 forums - just trying to get a wider variety of responses.

Cheers,
Mike.

I've just activated a friend's RNS-E in his 2005 A4 (B7).

It looks stunning! Navigational arrows appear on the DIS as well as having the coloured 3D map on the sat-nav unit.

Never used a TomTom so can't comment on reliability and ease of use, but the RNS-E seems easy to use and looks stunning!

Integrated has to be better than stunning stuck onto your windscreen!
