Hello, I recently bought a ctek mxs 5.0 car battery charger, it came with a two prong plug. this didn't fit in my outdoor weatherproof socket (which only works when closed) as the plug stuck out too far. So I very foolishly cut the plug off thinking I could simply put on a UK 3 pin plug, unfortunately upon closer inspection-after the the deed was done-the ctek plug was fused at 16a and the highest fuse/plug that I can find is 13a. So now I have a £50 charger with no plug. Could you please advise how I best correct this, thanks, in advance, andy
P.S. as you can tell by my above tale of woe, i'm a complete electrical novice so feel free to, if you are kind enough to answer, to put it into laymans terms.
