Samsung A5 digital camera, any good

I'm thinking of buying a digital camera in the £150 price range and have been recomended the Samsung A5.
Has anyone on here got one and are they any good, as i'm a bit of a digital camera virgin. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/blush.gif

Get an HP r707, stainless steel case with neoprene back, 3x optical zoom, 5MP unlimited video with sound, very easy to use. Looks more expensive than it is at £149.
Samsung are cheap & nasty plastic throwaway things.
