Galaxy Note

Ok so I am a huge Apple fan. But just lately I have been very unimpressed with my iPhone ... It's just so slow, ok it's not the 4s but that said I think some of the app developers are putting more effort into Android. In the UK 48% of all smartphones are Andrioid, compared to 28% Apple... My facebook app just hangs and hangs and other apps just seem to be taking longer to work...

So I have ordered a Galaxy Note, 1.4GHz dual core, 1GB ram, 2400mah battery, and that very impressive 5.3 Amoled screen..

Anyone got one?

Yep. Had mine for a few weeks now after upgrading from a 3GS and not fancying a 4S. Initially the size is a big difference and takes some getting used to, but once you do its a great phone. Screen quality is excellent and the camera blows the iPhone to bits. Peoples impression is wow, that huge followed by a few Don Jolly jokes, but even the sceptics take to it once they have seen what it can do. Changing from Apple to Android takes some getting used to but it doesn't take long and I for one won't be going back to Apple.

I quite fancy myself an android phone. I have been with an iphone for the past 2 or 3 years now. Started with a 3g, then 3gs, now 4. The OS is much the same and getting very stale/long in the tooth. Every major update is just dissapointing because much of it is just playing catch up. I have an iMac and love it to bits despite their habits of bringing iOS features to it which annoys me. Much the same reason I will not bu an iPad at present. It is just an iphone OS but bigger, I much prefer the features and flexibility of the Galaxy tab. My iMac has a screen for widgets, why doesn the iPad, it just doesnt make sense. iOS needs an overhaul. End of rant lol

PS. Nice choice getting that phone, lovely screen on it!

I don't have it but i heard Samsung Galaxy Note is the best phone and is also priced reasonably good. The Stylus provided with it is amazing.

Had one since Oct / Nov when it first launched.

Though ads seem to have only really started being pushed.

Awesome phone, i got it primarily for the size.
Battery life isnt bad, no worse than an iPhone (had 3, 3gs and 4). Generally lasts me the day, until im home at least. Id say im a pretty heavy user, do have a charger at work for when needed.

Looking for some in car setup currently. Got an Alpine x305 but useless with this. Doesnt seem to be much support for android headunits.

No, its not out for general release it is (on O2)? Only if you have ROM/ROOT your phone?

Im gonna wait till its available via Kies or Software Update. My days of jailbreaking etc are over.

I know Vodaphone get it this week, or possibly last week via Kies.

Just got my a Galaxy Note! I work for Vodafone so no what theyre about but never had android either, always had BB and iPhone but the Note is amazing with, full HD screen, the S Pen, just awesome for everything especially porn lol
