About LinkBacksWould like to get jailbreak off my 3GS, needs backing up but don't want to back it up while it's on there, I'm not worried about music, just contacts and text messages.

I don't think you can physically remove JB from the phone, just back it up with the JB and revert phone back to original specification if you are just trying to sell it?

If you want the jailbreak removed, just restore the phone via iTunes. It will put it back to the original apple software.

As above, I was running JB on my iPhone4 running 4.3. I just clicked 'Restore' on iTunes, which automatically uploaded iOS5. I'm now running iOS5 which is also JailbrokenThey've only released a tethered version so far though so I just hope my phone doesn't crash when out and about!
